To All ECU and Triad Counties Pirate Club Members, Reps
and Pirates Fans and Supporters:

All good things must come to an end. The past five, six, ....years have been grand. It is now time for me to step down as your Triad Counties Pirate Club Chapter President. I appreciate all your support over the years. This chapter has grown through my term not only in members but in dollars as well. Because of you, our chapter reached its all time high of 225 members in 2011. I know the next year will be even better. Our goal is 240 members with $170,000 in donations. Your new captain of this ship has stepped in and began his term this weekend. We have the pleasure to appoint Bill Beavans (our current Webmaster) as the new President. Please join me in congratulating and wishing him all the best in 2012.

Proceeds we raise at any Triad Counties Pirate Club Chapter event goes to our Ron Pugh Endowment Fund. We appreciate everyone’s support during these events.

We would to thank everyone who has supported the ECU Pirate Club. Every dollar we contribute helps to build our athletic programs. As always, if you ever have any questions or would like to give us any feedback, please contact any of the chapter representatives.




The Parker 215 center console boat, with Yamaha 150 hp motor and tandem axle trailer has been wrapped with the Pirate Club theme and was unveiled at the Raleigh Boat Show on February 3 in the Parker/Starling Marine area of the show. We anticipate beginning to sell tickets ($5 each) on the boat at the Keith LeClair Baseball Tournament and will continue selling tickets with a final drawing at the Marshall football game on November 24.

-Pirate Armada 2012 is scheduled for May 9 at Bermuda Run Country Club hosted by the Western Piedmont Pirate Club. Coach Ruff and Jeff Connors tentatively scheduled to appear.
